Abstract: The College of Science (CoS) in collaboration with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CoHSS), SRC and GRASAG organized the KNUST FOOD FESTIVAL 2020 on Friday 14th February 2020, on the theme “Promoting our food and culture for sustainable development”. The festival aimed at celebrating our diverse Food Heritage/Culture and New Food Products developed. It was held at the Royal Parade Ground –KNUST and was chaired by Nana Peter Awuah Darteh (Sanahene of Tekpa Traditional Council; Senior Lecturer in Department of English-KNUST).
Description: KNUST Food Festival has become a major event of the University making impacts in terms of public education and visibility. It is hoped that future festival will attract more patronage/ stakeholders not just from the University community but the general public at large.
