|Title: ||A manual for poster - making|
|Authors: ||Owusu-Boafo, Yaw|

|Abstract: ||The poster has served a variety of purposes from time immemorial. The use of the poster as a psychological device for communication in recent times has the advantage of reaching many people at a relatively lower cost than other advertising media.
In Ghana, a number of educational posters are being used to facilitate national development. However the basic principles of typography, illustration, colour and layout for poster making which are ignored in most posters render them ineffective. Suggestions have been given on how beat the poster can be used for mass communication to achieve the desired impact.
This manual is an attempt at a solution to the technical problems that face poster makers most of whom are not professionally trained. It will also serve as a handbook for art teachers.|
