Abstract: | Ghana and Nigeria do not share a common border since they are separated by two French-speaking Countries namely, the Republic of Togo and the Republic of Benin. These two English-speaking countries however have a lot in common, the major ones being their colonial past both having been former colonies of Great Britain and secondly their membership of the Commonwealth of Nations, a grouping of, until recently, Britain and several independent states that were former British colonies or have at some point in their histories been ruled by Britain. |
