Abstract: This studies focused on the Black Volta River Basin which is one of the major sub-basins of the Volta River Basin. The semiarid and sub-humid nature of the regions within which the basin is located coupled with high population growth rate and climate change has resulted in a lot of pressure being put on water resources.
