Title: The protein requirement and reproductive performance of pregnant and lactating sows fed either conventional or agro-industrial by products (AIBPs) based diets

Abstract: Two feeding trials were carried out; one with cereal-based diets and the other with AIBPs to determine the protein requirements and performance of pregnant and lactating sows. In experiment one, a total of eighteen large white gilts with an average liveweight of 100.39kg were allotted equally to three dietry treatment .
