Abstract
Cross-linguistic transfer is a major difficulty which learners from English speaking countries encounter in the process of French language learning. Addressing this transfer and its negative impact on students is both a challenge and target for the teacher. This study aims at analyzing the frequent errors made by Dompoase Senior High School learners of French. The errors were collected from the written production test answer papers. They were analyzed in terms of source and cause with a view to developing remedy for them as part of our desire to promote Teaching/ Learning of French Language in Ghana.
