Abstract
Architecture is essentially the art of reconciliation. It involves resolving specific and general demands of its users within a projected image of three dimensional forms. Caring for the dying has become a problem in this post modem society. Death usually invokes a variety of negative and destructive emotions, isolations, fear (of the unknown, of pain, of leaving loved ones behind and of needs not met), uncertainty and loss of control. This is what the hospice movement international have worked hard to deal with. In principle, hospice attempts to identify and satisfy each terminal patient's unique needs through the training of nurses, volunteers, and family members to care for the individual spiritual, physical and socially.
