dc.description.abstractThis study aims at finding the efficient use of French proverbs in the teaching and learning of French: a case study of Barekese Senior High School It was urgent to work on this topic because we had realised that French teachers especially those in Barekese, use inefficient teaching methods which make teaching and learning of the French language very difficult. However, there is the need to choose different activities starting with the use of French proverbs which makes teaching and learning very simple and interesting. It is to this effect that at the end of the study we proposed some activities using proverbs in teaching French.en_US
