Poor service coverage and inadequate management practices have become permanent features in the implementation of sanitary facilities. Various strategies have been adopted in the planning, implementation and management of household latrines under different projects in Ghana. Consequently, this report has evaluated the strategies used under the following projects: • Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) household latrine programme + Priority Works Project carried out by Integrated Social Development Centre (ISODEC) at Maamobi. + Kumasi Household Sanitation Project under the Kumasi Sanitation Project. + Kumasi Urban IV Household Sanitation Project under the Urban Environmental Sanitation Project.
