This thesis aims at optimally locating and also finding the optimal service coverage distance for fire station in the New Juaben municipality of Eastern region of Ghana. The method employed is the p-center heuristic. The absolute center was found to be 10,000 metres and occurred at node B of the network used. The results of the study suggested that the existing fire station of the municipality would have been located at Effiduase if scientific approach was used in making the decision and the service coverage distance was found to be 10,000 metres.en_US
