    Rapid land use/cover change and land degradation are occurring in Ghana as a result of demographic pressure, human-induce activities and environmental factors such as drought. This study analyzed the dynamics of land use/cover and land degradation risk as revealed in the Kintampo Municipal district based on the multi-spectral Landsat imagery of 1986 TM and 2005 ETM+.
