    Electricity production from hydropower has been, and still is today, the renewable source used to generate electricity. In 2011, the global share of electricity was 20% and in the EU, share was21%. The prospects of harnessing the hydro-electric potential of small rivers in Ghana have been investigated for 20 years, leading to the identification of many potential mini hydro sites.............................
