    The impact of internal communication on staff performance: a case study of Al-Azhariya Islamic SHS.

    Communication happens when a message moves from a sender to a receiver through a particular medium. Communication is very important in every organization and it plays a crucial role in the performance of employees. Internal communication is the type of communication that happens within an organization. The research used Al-azhariya Islamic Senior High School as a case study. It seeks to ascertain the channels of communication used at Al-azhariya Islamic SHS, determine the impact of internal communication on employee performance, identify the preferred channel of communication among the employees and finally identify the communication barriers affecting the employees at Al-azhariya Islamic SHS. The research used descriptive and case study design, simple random sampling was used to determine the size of the population. The findings depict a positive and significant relationship between internal communication and performance of the staff. There was a correlation of .487 at a significance level of 0.01.
