dc.description.abstract | The present study involved three separate studies. At the outset and in collaboration with the USAID funded IITA lead Africa RISING project which was being implemented in the three regions of northern Ghana, a preliminary survey was conducted to identify pig farmers who were members of the Africa RISING’s Research for Development Platform (R4D) and to solicit their support and active participation in the study. However, the main focus of this research work was based on phenotypic characterisation and genetic diversity study of the local pig of Ghana. | en_US |
