dc.description.abstract | This work was done with the objective of using optimization technique to determine minimum operational Cost. The problem formulated work at ten operational cost items and five operational cost sectors. The problem is formulated as a minimum operational cost problem and it is solved using the computer model for management science (CMMS). The optimal solution obtained identifies that Ghana water company, Kumasi is being operated at high cost. This work sets the stage and basis for future work with the aim of sustaining potable water for Kumasi Metropolis. It could be concluded that if the problem formulated is looked at and followed, a mini num operational cost is assured to meet the attempt to sustain potable water for Kumasi Metropolis | en_US |
