dc.description.abstractresults from ‘which are very positive. This could be a favourable indication of the possible exploitation of the slime dump in the near future. In this thesis report, a 3-D solid model of the mineralised areas of the slime dump has been• outlined using a cut-off of 30%. The 3-D model displayed three distinct sub-areas, which have been named as sites A, B and C. The reserve at the respective sites are: Site A:-1307897.839 tonnes at 44.58%; Site B: 606591.3635 tonnes at 36.45%; and Site C: 655469.7682 tonnes at 13.01%. The Surpac2000 version 3.1a was used in processing the data. In the phase of depleting oxide ores, it is recommended to GMC to consider mining its slime dump of site A and Ben_US
