Abstract
In the aviation sector, supply chain management is crucial for reducing operational costs while at the same time increasing the operational performance of companies within the sector. There are many different operational requirements that ground handlers must always follow. The complexity of operational demands with numerous variations for numerous customers in several places continue to trap ground handlers. Lack of information on the supply chain operations for ground handlers could jeopardize entire operations of the airport. This study therefore investigated the supply chain management practices of ground handling companies within the Airport of Ghana. Based on the nature of this study, both descriptive and explanatory research design was deemed appropriate. Using random sampling procedure, 192 employees of various ground handling companies were selected for this study. Structural equation modeling technique was used to analyze the association among the variables. The results demonstrate significant relationships between the constructs. Internal Integration (II) exhibits a strong positive impact on Aviation Organizational Performance (AOP) (β=0.9100, p
